Gwyneth Paltrow’s trainer Tracy Anderson pulled down her pants and was “surprised” because she “looked so good in clothes”
Gwyneth Paltrow and her trainer Tracy Anderson are on the cover of Redbook this month, and while Gwyneth is enamored with Tracy and her results, it seems her methods are a little brutal and humiliating.
Gwyneth said she snapped right back into shape after giving birth to her daughter Apple, but was having a tougher time after her second child Moses (Gwyneth has also been open about experiencing postpartum depression with Moses.)
When Gwyneth hired Tracy to help her tone up, Tracy took Gwyneth’s pants off, and then said this:
“Oh, my God, wow, I just am so surprised, because you look so good in clothes. I wasn’t expecting this.”
Being in shape is absolutely a health goal no matter what your circumstance is, but does anyone really need to be humiliated like that, especially when they already feel vulnerable?
Tracy, who worked with Madonna before becoming Gwyneth’s go-to trainer, has extreme methods for changing stars’ bodies that involved at least two hours of exercise a day and only about 800 calories. The usual minimum calorie recommendation for women, especially women who are engaging in lots of exercise, is 1200.
