Emma Watson (21) seems to have found love on the set of her new movie Perks of Wallflower with co-star Johnny Simmons(24)! Filming has wrapped for the project, but the pair were photographed kissing in Santa Monica, Ca. before stepping into a restaurant for a romantic meal. An onlooker told The Mail: “They were all over each other, kissing and hugging. It was very sweet to see. She looked utterly besotted.” Don’t you love the word “besotted”? BTW, I’m kind of besotted with Emma’s skirt in those smooch photos.
The two lovebirds were also caught this May (photo above) by paps spending time together after a day on set of their angsty and sweet coming of age film. (Perks of Being a Wallflower is based on a book of the same name published by MTV Press in 1999. It’s a touching novella that has become a cult classic. It’s utterly unforgettable, and highly recommended. The film is expected to be very true to the book, because the author, Stephen Chbosky, has co-written the screenplay, and directed the movie.)
Emma has previously denied that she’s dating Johnny (who debuted in 2007’s Evan Almighty), but things look to have changed since then. Emma, who attended Brown University in the U.S., reportedly has plans to attend Oxford University in England this fall. She’s previously expressed frustration at finding a boyfriend in the regular world, saying that boys were usually too intimidated to ask her out at Brown.
