Details on Drew Barrymore’s wedding to Will Kopelman
A probably pregnant 37-year-old Drew Barrymore wed her 34-year-old Will Kopelman this Saturday in a private ceremony at her $5.7 million, two-acre Montecito, Calif estate. Drew wore a Karl Lagerfeld custom-designed Chanel gown (Will’s dad Art Kopelman is a former CEO of Chanel,) that, according to US Weekly, was made of pleated muslin and organza with the skirt embroidered with flowers in organza, muslin, tulle and feathers. A black belt accentuated her waist.
Celebrity wedding planner Yifat Oren reportedly organized the affair, with lots of help from Drew’s friend and Charlie’s Angels co-star Cameron Diaz.
200 guests reportedly attended the garden wedding, and the ceremony was officiated by the family Rabbi.
Friday night 70 guests attended a rehearsal dinner at San Ysidro Ranch at sunset. (According to E! News, the guests were treated to Santa Barbara olives, chocolate truffles and bouquets of lavender in their hotel rooms.)
This is Drew’s third marriage, she has previously wed Jeremy Thomas, a British bar owner for two months in 1994, and comedian Tom Green in 2001 for five months.
Drew has been dating art consultant Will Kopelman since early 2011, and they announced their engagement this spring. Drew has not openly talked about being pregnant, but has been sporting a growing baby bump for several months.
Congratulations to couple, it sounds like their wedding weekend was a dream.
