Why Demi Lovato isn’t friends with Miley Cyrus anymore
Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus used to be good friends, but it looks like they’ve grown irrevocably apart.
“Um…yeah…that, um…we’re, we’re like…we’re acquaintances,” Demi said in a radio interview. “It’s life, and people change. I don’t have anything in common with her anymore. I wish her the best.”
A source told E Online, “Miley is a wild card and Demi has made a point of not surrounding herself with people who party too much. Demi’s sobriety is very important to her.”
The course also spoke about a recent run=in between the girls at a party. “About six months ago at a small gathering, both Miley and Demi were there. They were in the same room for a only a few moments, and it was super-awkward, very girly high-school, pretending to ignore each other. They didn’t speak, they didn’t even make eye contact.”
Meanwhile, Hollywood Life spoke with Miley’s camp, which said that, basically, Miley thinks Demi is boring. “Miley wants a friend and not a parent, and that is exactly the vibe Demi gives off. Miley thinks Demi is a literal buzz kill.
“It is the ultimate oil and water situation between them,” the source said. “They are not friends because Miley does everything Demi is against and Miley thinks Demi is no fun at all. So you can imagine how that would work out when they would be together.”
“I feel like I don’t fit in with Hollyweird at all and I’m actually kind of proud/happy about that,” Demi tweeted today.
