Channing Tatum mourns the death of his best friend from childhood ‘I’ll never forget your crazy ass’

Last night Channing Tatum shared a heartfelt message on Instagram after learning that his best friend childhood had passed away. “I’ll never forget his crazy ass and how he stuck up for and protected me when I first moved to Mississippi. He’d a fought anybody. All the laughs and trouble we go in,” the actor said in remembrance of his friend.



Learning that one of his oldest friends had passed away made the 38-year-old actor stress the importance of spending time with people we care about while we still can. “I’ll never be able to see that smile of his again in this life,” he reflected. “And it just made me need to remind everybody don’t put off anything. Seeing a friend, or even calling or texting. You never know what’s next.”

Along with his remembrance of his friend Channing posted a photo of the two of them in football uniforms when they were little boys in Mississippi. Channing was born in Alabama, moved to Mississippi when he was six-years-old, and went to high school in Tampa, Fl.




Channing’s estranged wife Jenna Dewan reached out to show her support via Instagram.“RIP Corey,” she wrote. “All the love in the world to his family right now.”
