The Bachelorette’s Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray break up
Just days after attending The Bachelor premiere together and posting lovey-dovey pictures on their respective Instagrams, The Bachelorette‘s Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray have ended their engagement.
“After several months of being engaged and working on our relationship, we have decided that it’s best for both of us to go our separate ways,” Andi, 27, and Josh, 30, said in a joint statement, People reports. “We are very sad that it has come to this point, but this is what’s best for both of us individually.”
The split seems to be very sudden: On Monday, they seemed to be very happy with each other — although they said there were “no immediate plans” to tie the knot when pressed by Chris Harrison.
“We’re looking forward to just settling down and relaxing and just having fun with each other,” Josh told The Bachelor host.
Andi added, “Once you start planning, there’s no stopping. I have to be ready to plan and he has to be ready to taste the food and drink the wine.”
Despite the display of affection, E! News reports a source said it was just “a good show for the cameras” and that the pair seemed tense when the cameras weren’t rolling.
Andi and Josh concluded their statement today by saying they “will continue to be good friends” and “have nothing but great things to say about each other and wish each other the best.”
