For all us addicted to the late Stieg Larsson’s Millenium Trilogy, this is pretty exciting. The first photos of Rooney Mara in character as Lisbeth Salander while filming the U.S. version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo have leaked.
Thankfully she looks a little less styled-edgy, and more like a true lone spirit than the Swedish incarnation (which was still wonderful and played by Noomi Rapace).
