PHOTOS Jessa Seewald shares first picture of (nearly) 10-lb. baby boy!

Jessa Seewald is basking in motherhood! After the former 19 Kids and Counting star welcomed her first baby with husband Ben Seewald on Thursday night, the couple revealed the little baby boy was actually not so little at 9 lbs., 11 oz. and 21-1/2 inches long! Ben and Jessa’s baby also made his photo debut on People.

Ben and Jessa haven’t announced their baby’s name yet, but plan to share more details — including additional pictures — on their website later today. The Duggar family confirmed the arrival of Ben and Jessa’s baby on Thursday night. “So excited!!!!! Ben and Jessa have had their sweet new baby! A beautiful baby BOY!!!!!” the family said on Facebook. “Mom and baby are both doing great! Thanks for all your prayer! Congrats Ben and Jessa, we love you!”

Earlier on Thursday, Ben’s younger sister was the first family member to share the news with a gender-suggestive Instagram post.

Before the birth, Jessa said she was prepared to have a “chubby little baby,” considering how much she and Ben weighed as newborns.

We've been taking a poll with the Duggar and Seewald families over the past few weeks, and everyone is trying to guess how much they think #BabySeewald might weigh at birth… ? I was the biggest out of all my siblings, weighing 9lbs 15oz– and Ben weighed 8lbs 15oz. Haha! I'd say it's very possible we could have a chubby little baby! ???
