The teleprompter was not Kendall Jenner’s BFF during the live broadcast of the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night!
The 18-year-old reality TV star and model was given the task of introducing Australia’s 5 Seconds of Summer before their performance. Jenner looked understandably nervous as she excitedly went about reading the prompts for the intro. She hit a bump and caught herself nearly naming the band One Direction while acknowledging “I’m the worst reader.”
Awkwardness ensued:
Jenner took to Twitter afterwords to joke about the flub writing, “Anndddd as if I wasn’t nervous already!!!! #NeverLeavinMyContactsAtHomeAgain! #LOL #LessonLearned.”
Kendall better hone her craft because she’s slated to co-host the upcoming Much Music Awards in Canada on June 15.
