Teen Mom 2‘s Adam Lind has reportedly been kicked to the curb by Taylor Halbur, the mother of his second daughter.
Two sources confirmed to Teen Mom Truth that Taylor ended the relationship “for good” because of Adam’s immaturity — which became even clearer to her after his fiery car crash in February.
“Taylor is struggling,” said a friend of the new mom. “But she knows it’s what’s best for her and Paislee.”
Based on Taylor’s social media timelines, the split seems to be relatively fresh: She posted “bed time” photos with Adam on March 11 and a cute photo of Adam and Paislee on March 18. Taylor’s messages seemed to take on a different tone within the past couple of weeks, as she tweeted about “shedding all of this skin” and “telling myself I WILL come out on top.”
According to the insiders, Adam’s car crash (and subsequent charges) was a major turning point in his and Taylor’s relationship. Since then, the sources said Taylor was alarmed to see more of Adam’s “old demons” creep back. They say she also began to heed friends and family members’ warnings about “how immature and irresponsible Adam still is.”
As difficult as the breakup may be for now, Taylor needn’t look farther than Chelsea Houska to see how good life can be without Adam’s antics.
