Miley Cyrus’ tweets took a somber tone today as she mourns the loss of her Alaskan Klee Kai puppy Floyd. “I don’t wanna say it because I don’t want it to be real… But my precious baby Floyd has passed away … I am broken,” a distraught Miley wrote. “This is the 3rd worst day of my life. I am beyond miserable.”
“I know I don’t mean it but I wish he would’ve taken me with him … this is unbearable,” she posted next to the above photo of her beloved pooch. “What am I gonna do without him?” She also tweeted lyrics from The Flaming Lips’ “Feeling Yourself Disintegrate” off of The Soft Bulletin: “Love in our life is just too valuable to feel for even a second without it. But life without death is just impossible.”
Miley did not say how Floyd died, but he seemed quite young. She adopted him in 2011 when he was still a puppy.
The singer has a show tonight in Boston, but she’s not feeling up to her usual self. Even so, so promised, “I will try my best to be my best.”
