Miley Cyrus was in Kansas City for a scheduled concert date on her Bangerz tour Tuesday night when she was hospitalized after suffering what is said to be a severe allergic reaction to medicine.
Miley was at the arena and ready to go but fell ill. She was taken to an area hospital and ordered on bed rest by the doctors. The concert was cancelled and Miley expressed her disappointment about having to miss the show with her fans via Twitter:
Sources close to the star have told TMZ that her trip to the hospital might have been because of a bad reax to meds but her need for the medication was because she has worn herself down partying after suffering an emotional breakdown after the death of her dog Floyd.
The source stated that the “Wrecking Ball” singer has been in overdrive since Floyd’s passing and there’s been drinking as well as “drugs involved.”
Cyrus also missed her concert date in Charlotte last Monday because of the flu.
