One of Miley Cyrus’ Bangerz tour buses was incinerated last night while en route to New Orleans. No injuries were reported, but it looks like the bus is a total loss.
Younger sister Noah Cyrus shared photos and video on Instagram. She added on Twitter “Thank u God for keeping us safe.”
So far, Miley’s only referenced the blaze by retweeting Noah’s message that the “Cyrus bus down.” TMZ noted Miley was traveling in a different bus.
In an update this morning, Noah clarified no one was injured or killed — other than the stuffed bunny mom Tish Cyrus got at Cracker Barrel earlier in the day.
Apparently there were also rumors and/or jokes that the fire began with a smoldering joint. Unfortunately for late-night talk show hosts, a blown tire is reportedly to blame.
Although the bus was destroyed, this incident actually ended much better than the 2009 tour bus crash that killed one of Miley’s crew members.
