As we reported earlier this month, Mellie Stanley, a reformed wild child and star of TLC’s Gypsy Sisters, gave birth to her first son, Richard Joe Whetzel Stanley.
Since delivering the 6-pound, 2-ounce baby boy on June 30, new mom Mellie has been absolutely fawning over her new son.
The mama is also staying true to her roots by passing on her family’s traditions. Little Richard Joe Whetzel already looks like a true gypsy boy!
Mellie is no longer with the baby’s father, but she does have support from her large family. Sister Nettie Stanley was even at baby Joe’s birth and appears to be helping Mellie settle into motherhood.
Video cameras were in the delivery room with Mellie, so we’re sure to learn more details about the baby’s birth and Mellie’s and new life on an upcoming TLC special.
