It’s another Real Housewives wedding special! This time, it’s Tamra Barney and her fiancé Eddie Judge who will be following up their televised engagement with an on-screen wedding in their own spinoff. Earlier this morning, the news was announced and now, it’s been confirmed by Tamra herself.
“Tamra is the perfect choice for the next Housewife to get her own show,” an insider told Radar Online. “She joined the cast in series three and has become one of the veterans of the series and is incredibly popular with Housewives fans.”
“For Bravo, she has it all: the romantic storyline of getting married, for a third time, the drama with the other OC Housewives and she’ll inevitably be a beautiful bride, when she walks down the aisle,” the insider continued.
Just last month, Tamra spoke with Too Fab about what fans can expect to see during her upcoming nuptials. “I’m going to have three dresses I’m going to have a ceremony dress, a dinner/cocktail dress, and a reception dress that’s going to be a party dress,” she revealed. “I just went back last Friday and did some sketching of the dress that I want. We’re incorporating different things from different dresses. [Designer] Mark Zunino is making them right now. I’m really excited about them!”
Tamra follows the lead of The Real Housewives of Atlanta stars Kim Zolciak and NeNe Leakes and former star of The Real Housewives of New York Bethenny Frankel who all landed their own wedding specials after becoming engaged during their run on their hit Bravo shows. Bethenny married Jason Hoppy in 2010’s Bethenny Getting Married, Kim married Kroy Biermann in Don’t Be Tardy in 2011, and NeNe will re-marry Gregg Leakes in a special that is due to air this coming September titled I Dream Of NeNe.
Earlier this morning, Tamra took to Twitter where she confirmed that she and Eddie’s wedding would be true — and she needs your help with a name. “Rumors are True….Wedding spin off!” she wrote. “Can you help us with the name? #sweating4thewedding #tamra&eddiearefinallyready #thirdtimesacharm.”
