Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt paid residents to leave their Honeymoon island
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have finally gotten married, but they’re not using their honeymoon for rest and relaxation. The A-list stars paid the residents of the island of Gozo, which is off of Malta, to leave their home for the weekend so they can not only spend time together on their honeymoon, but also shoot scenes for their upcoming movie By the Sea.
Page Six reports that the couple has paid local business owners $200,000 to vacate the isle for two months. They’re reportedly recreating the French Riveria on this small, picturesque location.
This film, which is written and directed by Angelina, will be first time the actors have worked together since they met on the set of 2005’s Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
