Chanel No. 5 has been a staple high society fragrance since the 1920s, with stars like Marilyn Monroe and Nicole Kidman heading advertising campaigns. Now those glamorous female Hollywood icons are passing the baton to Brad Pitt.
Someone leaked the info to E! News before Chanel officially confirmed and released the first official phot0, above. Brad’s rumored to get seven figures for the campaign, which reportedly starts shooting in London this week.
This is the first time ever a man has shilled for No. 5, and one of the rare occasions (if any) that a man has been the face of a women’s fragrance. It’s so crazy it might just work.
