AMAZING PHOTO Frog blasted into air during NASA rocket launch

Rocket Frog is amazing

That is the stuff of Kermit’s nightmares and also one of the most amazing images I’ve ever seen!

Universe Today has verified that the image you see above of a frog getting his four-legged life launched into the atmosphere is the genuine article and not altered in any way. The incredible shot comes from an actual photo taken by one of NASA’s remote cameras set up for the launch on September 6, 2013 from the Wallops/Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport.

So why would a frog be chilling out around a rocket launch site? Via UT:

The launchpad has a “pool” for for the high-volume water deluge system that activates during launches to protect the pad from damage and for noise suppression, and likely there was a (formerly) damp, cool place that was a nice spot for a frog to hang out.

I’m sure it was not a happy ending for this little hopper but I guess Rocket Frog figured it’s better to burn out than to fade away.
