3 Delaware daycare employees arrested for staging a toddler ‘fight club’
Tiana Harris, (19), Lisa Parker, (47), and Estefania Myers, (21), have been arrested after a cell phone video emerged showing the Delaware daycare employees allegedly encouraging toddlers to fight.
This horrible scene went down at the Hands of our Future Daycare in Dover, Delaware back in March. In the video, which has been saved and is now part of the prosecution’s evidence, the accused are said to be seen egging on two 3-year-old children under their supervision and care to get physical, you know, for fun.
In the footage, which is being kept from the public eye because of its use in the trial, one of the toddlers can be heard crying out, “He’s pinching me,” while he attempts to break free. So what was the response from one of these ladies dutied with the care of this precious child? One of the 3 charged can be heard saying:
“No pinching, only punching.”
She then leads this little one back to the designated fighting area. Sad, sad, sad.
So how do you think moms of children who were under the care of Hands of our Future reacted? Yep. They were freaking irate.
Cristal Slack’s little 4-year-old was in the room and saw what happened. She said:
“That pissed me off just because I feel if my daughter is around anything, I should have known.”
Another mom, Amy Bickling added:
“I can’t ever believe in a million years. I mean I would have to see the proof to believe it.”
The facility has obviously had its license revoked pending the investigation. On the building there’s the following sign that just about sums it all up:
“Unsafe For Human Occupancy.”
