No, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie doesn’t have the power to suspend anyone from a reality series. But, he does have the power to suspend someone from the North Jersey District Water Supply Commission, which is exactly what he did to Caroline Manzo’s husband Albert Manzo this week claiming that the Real Housewives of New Jersey star abused the public’s trust!
Christie suspended Manzo for “not revealing that he lived in Franklin Lakes instead of Paterson,” according to an AP article. The Manzos’ expansive Franklin Lakes home is often featured on the popular Bravo reality series, as is Albert Manzo’s event facility The Brownstone, the latter of which is in Paterson and is listed as Manzo’s official address.
“Do you really believe he’s sleeping on a cot at the Brownstone in Paterson?” Christie asked.

Albert Manzo has since talked with a local paper telling them that he has an apartment at the Brownstone and intends to fight the suspension.
I only have one word for all this… BUSTED!
Albert Manzo you are obviously busted because you DO NOT live at the Brownstone except possibly on nights when you have partaken in some of the spirits at your events and need a place to crash.
And Chris Christie you are busted for watching, or at least being aware of, The Real Housewives of New Jersey! I have heard Christie’s name mentioned as a darkhorse candidate to receive the Replublican nomination for the 2012 presidential race because he was one of the few that had the charisma and wit to compete with Obama behind the podium, but I had no idea his “charisma” included potentially being a Real Housewives fan! (Score one for Team Christie!)
The suspension is just the latest in the Governor’s sweeping reform in the state as he attempts to eliminate wasteful spending. Another casualty from the North Jersey District Water Supply Commission was Michael Cricco, “who was paid for attending commission meetings while still on the clock for his $80,000-a-year job at the Schools Development Authority.” Commission members are required to attend meetings on “personal time.”
Okay Obama, you need to get on the ball here! Taking a long look at Russell Armstrong might be a good place to start!
