Dance Moms‘ Abby Lee Miller is going Hollywood! The Pennsylvania-based instructor is reportedly setting up a new studio near Los Angeles.
TMZ reports the notorious choreographer is establishing Abby Lee Dance Company Los Angeles (ALDC LA) in Santa Monica. She is renting an apartment nearby, so she will likely be a regular presence in the studio. In fact, it sounds like she’s already started training new students in a temporary space at the building where Dancing With the Stars rehearses.
As for what the move means for the original Abby Lee Dance Company in Pittsburgh, it seems the new studio is just a branch — and business will continue as usual in PA. One big change, however, is that students from the L.A. location will start to appear on Dance Moms. I sense a rivalry brewing!
