On June 1 the original cast members of TLC’s Breaking Amish are returning to our magic electronic lookity boxes for Return To Amish, and, as evidenced by the dramatic trailer for the new season, a huge part of the show will be focused on the pregnancies of Rebecca Schmucker and Sabrina High. But, fans will also be getting a wedding as Abe Schmucker’s brother Andrew Schmucker, who has appeared along with their mother Mary Schmucker on both the original Breaking Amish series as well as the follow-up Breaking Amish: L.A., married fiancee Chapel Peace in a beautiful and rustic ceremony held May 10 in Rossiter, PA with TLC cameras rolling (I assume).

Some pictures from the ceremony recently surfaced on a couple of Breaking Amish Facebook fan pages, including photos of the bride and groom as well as Abe, Rebecca, Mary, Kate and more!

As viewers of the Breaking Amish shows know, Andrew has had a number of run-ins with the law and has spent a good deal of time behind bars. Hopefully the nuptials are just the beginning of him getting his life on track.

But, Andrew potentially getting his life straight is nothing compared to the inspirational story of Chapel Peace, now Chapel Schmucker. Chapel was diagnosed with bone cancer in late 2011. Through treatment she was able to beat back the cancer and lived a year and a half in remission before being diagnosed with the disease again, this time in her lungs.

Click here to find out more about Chapel’s cancer history, including an update on how she is doing now!

The upcoming season has the makings of an incredibly emotional roller coaster ride for viewers, and the ride begins when Breaking Amish: Return To Amish premieres Sunday, June 1 at 9/8c.

Abe needs to do something about that hair! I wish all the best for Chapel and her children. I can’t imagine what she’s going through.

He and Donald Trump. But all kidding aside, yes, all the best for ALL of them.

This makes me happy, I always though Andrew had a good heart! I hope he takes good care of Chapel and her kiddies

I have never seen so many young people with false teeth. So far it’s Rebecca, Andrew and now his wife, Chapel. If you take care of your teeth and get cleanings, etc., you will keep them.

What an ignorant and insensitive remark. You should be more careful with your words. Words can and do hurt, and just because these people happen to be on a popular TV show doesn’t mean that they don’t have feelings! I am sure that they already feel self-conscious enough about having to wear dentures. They don’t need people like you to make them feel even worse! First of all, dental care is very expensive (dentists are the most greedy of all health care providers in my opinion) and not everyone can afford it. Second of all, just because someone is missing teeth does NOT necessarily mean that they have poor hygiene and do not take proper care of their teeth. Genetics play a role. And also, there are certain medical conditions and medications that can cause tooth decay and eventually tooth loss. And while a denture is definitely not an ideal solution, unfortunately the alternative (dental implants) are VERY expensive! It is criminal what these dentists charge! And one more thing. Chapel is currently facing a life threatening illness, and you are criticizing her appearance. Unbelievable. Where the hell is your compassion? What happened to humanity? Shame on you!

Here, here! Well said. We need to all have compassion for one another and to quit judging other people, especially on something as shallow as looks.

Chapel is a beautiful young woman going through some extraordinarily challenging times and we as fellow humans should help lift her up in any way possible, via prayers or donations or just wishing her well. I’m sending up prayers on your behalf Chapel, may you have a speedy recovery.

The last thing that Chapel is concerned about is her teeth! She has an advanced stage of lung cancer, and can barely afford to take care of herself and her children, and you are thinking about her teeth?

    • Elisa Pelaccia

You look beautiful Chapel! Wishing you and Andrew a lifetime of love, good health and happiness.

IHodgkin hope she is doing ok and getting the treatment she needs i know its expencive, my son has non hodgkins lymphomia and the chemo is about 400.00 a month with insurance. My heart goes out to her and Andrew i know how heartbreaking it is to think the person you love may die( not something a parent should have to think about)

Rebecca is a rude b****. Abe needs to grow some balls and quit letting her ruin his life. She’s dumb and seems to love drama. He also needs to do something about that hair! Good lord. Well Rebecca’s isn’t much better! She needs to get rid of at least 20 of her 50 booby pins she has in her hair. Lol they both need to grow up and stop judging people so much
