This viral video is funny and extremely touching all at once. A man posted this video of himself coming to after surgery, and realizing that the pretty lady taking care of him is his wife.
He’s groggy, and in a bit of pain as he tries to eat a cracker, but when he gets a look of his caretaker, he’s blown away by her beauty. At some point he calls her the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen, and asks her if she’s a model. She tries to avoid answering his questions, but finally says “My name is Candace. I’m your wife.” His response “Your MY wife?!? Holy Shit!!!!”

The dude posted an explanation of what was going on with him (although it’s the only Youtube video he has up, a big tip-off that it may be a hoax:)
“In response to all of the questions: I had a hernia repair to fix residual tears from a previous surgery.
I wish I could remember this but I was definitely out of it.
This was my fifth surgery within our six years of marriage and she’s been by my side through all of it. In a previous surgery I suffered a severe complication and we didn’t know if I’d ever function the same again. She is the love of my life.“
Another indication this was a hoax? The guy in the video, Jason Mortensen, has headshots up at Hollywoodauditions.com.
Doctors have also come out disputing that his amnesia would have wiped out six years of years with his wife.
