Avatar actor Sam Worthington must have been at one heck of a Real Housewives of Atlanta premiere pre-party Saturday night because he was refused entry at one of the city’s famous Vortex restaurant locations late last night for allegedly being too intoxicated (and also for not having proper ID). Worthington then reportedly got into an altercation in which “he allegedly pushed the doorman twice and the doorman responded by pepper spraying him and putting him in cuffs until the cops arrived,” according to the police report obtained by TMZ. (The site reports that the entire incident was caught on surveillance video, so I’m sure they are negotiating a price as we speak.)
Worthington was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct — fighting, but the charges were dropped and the 36-year-old Aussie was released today when the complaining witness didn’t show up for court.
Worthington is currently in Atlanta filming Ten alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger.
