Ke$ha hints at Rihanna collaboration with Waffle House instagram photo?

Singer Ke$ha has the internet all in a tizzy after posting a rather mysterious photo and caption on Instagram earlier today. In the photo (seen above) a Waffle House waitress can be seen holding a piece of paper with a stylized capital “R” hand drawn on it and the caption reads, “what’s it all mean???”

The “R” is very similar to Rihanna’s logo, used on most all of her album covers in one form or another. Here’s an example:

A Rihanna collaboration doesn’t seem all that far-fetched given the devil-may-care attitudes of both performers, but so far there has been no confirmation from either camp.

There is also some speculation that the photo may reveal something about the track as well — my guess is that it will be a single called “Hash Brown” all bout Rihanna’s relationship with Chris Brown. Or perhaps Kesha’s as-yet-untitled new album will be called Scattered, Smothered & Covered and feature numerous cover songs? That would seem to make sense given the fact that Ke$ha has recently collaborated with the likes of Iggy Pop and Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips.

“We’re really, really close now,” she said of her friendship with the Flaming Lips at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards. “I went on a spirit journey, came back, worked with the Flaming Lips, worked with Iggy Pop — really explored my rock roots.”

“The first two records talked more about partying, which is a great, magical part of life, but some songs on the new record are more personal and vulnerable,” she said about her debut and her re-release, Cannibal. “And you can hear more of the music I listen to when I’m lying in my bed. I’m not claiming that it’s a rock record, but as long as it’s f—ing good, you can call it whatever you want.

“About 90 percent of the time, I don’t give a f—, but I give so many f—s about this album,” she said. “Some people weren’t sure if I could sing. On this record, I said, ‘Let’s leave the tricks to a minimum and let me wail.'”

Stay tuned — I’m sure we will know more soon!
