If you keep up with my posts you know I’m a staunch defender of real women with curves. Well Miley Cyrus is too apparently as she took to her Twitter account to sound off on people calling her fat.
On Friday night Miley dropped the following Twitter bomb:

That’s an extreme means by which to get across her point but at least there’s no grey area as to where Miley stands on the issue. It’s sad how often young female celebs and their weight become issues or stories. The recent back and forth between Christina Aguilera and Kelly Osbourne is a good example of this.
Demi Lovato, who recently went red with great effect, has come out publicly with her struggle with eating disorders and replied to Miley’s tweet with the following attagirls:
Miley followed her image of the sickly young woman with this image of Marilyn Monroe to further illustrate her point:
As Miley pointed out, it comes down to loving yourself. There’s nothing as sexy as confidence and kindness and I believe that Miley has both in abundance.
