Who did Dean McDermott cheat on Tori Spelling with?
Last December, a woman named Emily Goodhand told Us Weekly intimate details about sleeping with Dean McDermott while he was in town for Chopped Canada on Dec. 6. Dean and wife Tori Spelling didn’t acknowledge the report for the next month — until Dean went to rehab and issued a statement about regretting the “pain he caused his family.”
Shortly after his treatment, Dean and Tori announced they were inviting cameras into their home for True Tori. The show premieres tonight and promises to “allow the audience to witness the most difficult and unpredictable period” in their lives.
But, what is still unclear is just who the mistress who set off this whole chain of events really is: Following the original story, Emily Goodhand basically disappeared off the face of the earth — despite surely plentiful opportunities to further capitalize on her story.
In the Us Weekly story, Emily, a 28-year-old Canadian woman, said she met Dean through friends at the Pravda Vodka House. He later invited her to his hotel room at Toronto’s Fairmont Royal York Hotel and she made the “stupid decision” to go.
After sleeping together, Emily said Dean told her he had a “sexless marriage.”
“He said, ‘I love my wife. I love her so much, but she just won’t sleep with me.’ I didn’t ask why because it was awkward,” Emily said. Nonetheless, she agreed to return the next night. At that point, Dean allegedly showed her a sex tape he and Tori filmed. She quickly asked him to turn it off and they spent the rest of the night just talking.
When telling her story later that month, Emily said she wanted to apologize to Tori.
Unfortunately for inquiring minds, there were no exclusive pictures of Emily (which usually accompany tell-alls like that). Searches for her name also turn up empty — save for another Emily Goodhand in Canada who was apparently bombarded with messages deriding her for the affair.
True Tori premieres on Lifetime tonight at 10/9c.
