More details are emerging in the Jasmine Fiore murder investigation, including gruesome disfigurement details. The man suspected of killing the former model is her husband Ryan Alexander Jenkins, who is still at large and believed to be in Canada. Here are the bullet points of the most recent information, mostly gleaned from TMZ.com and a press conference held by the Buena Park Police Department.

– Jasmine’s fingers and teeth had been removed, an obvious attempt to destroy identifying features

– Authorities are focusing on a text message from Fiore’s phone as motive in the case. Actually, there were two messages – both sent to a former boyfriend of Jasmine’s Robert Hasman. TMZ has sources that say there was a history of jealousy in the relationship dating back to when Ryan Jenkins was filming a reality show in Mexico and discovered Fiore was communicating with Hasman, which angered Jenkins. Jasmine and Ryan were in San Diego for a poker tournament Friday and at some point during the evening Jasmine sent a text message to Robert Hasman telling him she would be visiting him in Las Vegas. Later that same night another text message was sent from Jasmine’s phone to Hasman that simply read, “suck it.” The theory is that Ryan found out about the first text message and used her phone to send the second.

Here’s video of Robert Hasman from the press conference:

And more from the press conference from the AP:

– Jenkins was the last known person to see Jasmine alive and he was the one that reported her missing to police.

– There is a $10 million bail out on Ryan

– Authorities are saying Ryan may be armed and dangerous

– The following statement was issued by the producers of “Megan Wants A Millionaire” to address the fact that they allowed someone who had been convicted of assaulting a former girlfriend to be on the show:

51Minds was not aware of Ryan Jenkins’ record when it cast him on “Megan Wants a Millionaire.” Obviously, if the company had been given a full picture of his background, he would never have been allowed on the show.

The company did have in place what it thought was a thorough vetting process that involved complete background checks by an outside company for all contestants on its shows. Clearly, the process did not work properly in this case.
