Drew and Jonathan Scott are HGTV’s hunky home experts who help transform ugly one house at a time. Viewers seem to have tons of questions for the brothers like are they single (Drew has a girlfriend but Jonathan is single) and where do they live (they share a home in Las Vegas).

Besides personal questions, viewers want to know the nitty-gritty behind-the-scenes details. Rather than letting fans guess, Jonathan has promised to personally answer questions each and every week submitted to him through Facebook. Property Brothers fans rejoice!

Here are this week’s FAQs along with the short answer.

Why do the Property Brothers always smash the cabinets? Do they ever donate them to Habitat for Humanity?
Yes, they do donate cabinets. However, Habitat for Humanity won’t take everything, and sometimes the cabinets aren’t able to be donated. In addition to cabinets, other home goods are donated as well as repurposed and sold by the homeowners.

Why are the Property Brothers on TV so much?
Viewer demand. Between their shows Property Brothers, Buying and Selling, Brother vs. Brother, and a new show called The Property Brothers at Home which premieres in November, Drew and Jonathan are the only HGTV hosts that have a new episode on each and every week of the year.

Does Jonathan really do the work himself?
Yes. Jonathan is a master builder and general contractor so he’s got some serious skillz. If the project is over budget, Jonathan often helps out. Because he doesn’t charge the homeowner for his time, doing the work himself helps stretch the budget.

But don’t take my word for it. Check out Jonathan’s video for the complete answers:

If you could ask the Property Brothers anything, what would your question be?
