VIDEO Preview and details for Leah Remini: It’s All Relative — see how much Scientology talk to expect
TLC rolled out its first preview for Leah Remini: It’s All Relative, which went into development after the King of Queens actress made her much-publicized split from the Church of Scientology. So how much religion talk should viewers expect? Based on the clip, little to none. In fact, “Scientology” isn’t even mentioned.
As the clip really shows, Leah’s show is way more about the crazy cast of characters within her own family than those she used to hobnob with in Hollywood. The extended Remini clan includes husband Angelo Pagan, 9-year-old daughter Sofia, mother Vicki, stepfather George, sister Shannon and brother-in-law William.
“We are blessed to be given this opportunity to work together as a family,” she said in a statement via a press release. “However, beware — In these last 13 weeks of working on the show, my mother and stepfather already feel they are the true talent and breakouts of the show and expect to be offered sitcoms.”
According to TLC, the family agreed to basically make no topic off-limits: “And the cameras are capturing it all — Leah and her family are incredibly close, not holding back with their love, opinions, or sense of humor. As viewers will see, in this house, anything goes including unfiltered conversations about body hair grooming, sex and a certain tramp stamp.”
Leah Remini: It’s All Relative premieres on TLC on Thursday, July 10 at 10/9c.
