VIDEO Parents unable to share brawl at preschool graduation
It’s important to teach our young ones to share and to be nice when having to take turns. Apparently this lesson was seriously lost on a group of moms who were attending a preschool graduation at Lenicia B. Weemes Elementary School in Los Angeles!
In the following video a brawl ensues between some ticked off moms and it was all because of budget cuts according to the anonymous person who posted the clip via YouTube:
“This all started because my son’s teacher was so unorganized. Basically because of budget issues all the kids had to share a cap and gown for pictures. One of the moms in the video was basically taking over and the other one didn’t like it and told her something about it.”
Here’s the clip:
Children can be heard crying and screaming in the background as the madness went down. Also audible is one of the adults screaming, “Get the kids out! Get the kids out!”
The poster of the clip also added the following about what happened to an older lady on the scene:
“The sad part was that there was an older lady that got pushed and she actually hit her head on a bookshelf and I rushed to help her but when this other mom rush to help us the angry women actually attacked the other mom.”
Lenicia B. Weemes is part of the Los Angeles Unified School District which recently had to cut their school year short one full week because of budget cuts. Monica Carazo, a spokesperson with the LAUSD, confirmed that what we saw is what we saw and that a letter was sent home to parents about the incident. She added that no charges had been filed.
Thankfully no one was seriously injured during this melee, especially the children.
