Man, Andy Cohen sure has a way with getting celebrities to talk about their toking habits! Almost one year after Susan Saradon admitted to the Watch What Happens Live host that she’s been stoned during “almost all” major awards shows, Andy got Kathy Bates to talk about the time the actresses smoked together.
During a round of Plead the Fifth, Andy asked the American Horror Story actress about her experiences with two former costars: “Who’s the biggest pothead: Matthew McConaughey or Susan Sarandon?”
“Oh, that’s tough,” Kathy said, squirming a bit. “Is this going to get them in trouble legally? Is this going to get me in trouble legally?”
Andy then speculated that Kathy was trying to cover for Matthew, her costar in 2006’s Failure to Launch, but she said that wasn’t her experience. With Susan, however…
“I actually shared some dope with her last year… It was with Melissa McCarthy, we were shooting Tammy and I was staying at Susan’s house,” Kathy revealed. “She had some good s**t… But I didn’t inhale!”
