According to the official mission statement from The Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock, the institution is:
“Committed to providing outstanding, compassionate care for children and their families. Our mission is to provide each child the best care, in the right place, at the right time, every time. Our physician expertise provides primary, specialty, and tertiary care to the children of New Hampshire, Vermont, and beyond. We see children for everything from wellcare visits to the most complex childhood diseases.”
Yesterday, CHaD published the following inspirational and awesome video of patients, staff, parents, nurses and administrators doing a lip sync to Katy Perry’s recent single “Roar.”
Via their official Facebook page they explained:
“Please share this video directly from the kids and staff at Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth. It was created for our annual CHaD HERO Half Marathon & Ripcord 5K, which raised over $650,000 this year, and it means a lot to the families and CHaD community who work to keep these kids roaring. #chadhero #chad #katyperry #roar”
Well guys, I can say with a full heart, it’s our pleasure at Starcasm to do just that for our readers. Enjoy everybody and if you’re so moved, you can donate to their fantastic cause here.
