UNEXPECTED Falen Vaughn pleads no contest to criminal charges EXCLUSIVE

Unexpected grandma Falen Vaughn was in court on Thursday in regard to the criminal charges she was facing after her arrest in April.

In case you missed it, Falen was arrested at her daughter Bella Vaughn’s boyfriend Hunter’s house after getting onto a scuffle over a custody issue. The 40-year-old grandma was charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing governmental operations — both misdemeanors.

Falen’s attorney filed a motion to dismiss the charges in May, but the motion failed.

Falen’s trial was scheduled for Thursday, November 5, and court records indicate she entered pleas of nolo contendere (no contest) to each charge.

Judgment for each of Falen’s charges were “postponed,” suggesting she received deferred adjudication. It is likely she has been given conditions and the charges will be dropped if she meets those conditions. Starcasm is working to get additional information about the plea deal.

The court docket indicates Falen made a payment of $240 on the day of the trial. It’s unclear if that was a one-time payment or if she has been assessed additional fees/fines in the case.
