The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars charged with assault and terroristic threats following fight

Jacqueline Laurita and husband Chris face charges of assault and terrorist threatsJoe at Sugar Factory at Miracle Mile Shops inside Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey are currently filming their fifth season and as always, there’s plenty of drama. Unfortunately for three members of the cast, a recent altercation during filming has landed them with a nasty set of charges. According to a recent report, the cast including Jacqueline Laurita, her husband Chris Laurita, and Joe Gorga, the husband of Melissa Gorga, were involved in what is being referred to as a “bloody brawl.” Last night, a judge ruled that the three stars would be charged with assault and terrorist threats.

On Saturday night, the cast was filming at a clothing store in Ridgewood, New Jersey which is when the argument ensued between them and John Karagiorgis. Apparently, John and his wife Penny had been talking badly about Melissa, so once her husband Joe spotted him, he confronted him about it. When Joe asked John where he was getting his information, John told him to ask his sister Teresa.

Then, Jacqueline’s husband Chris confronted Johnny as well over a far-fetched accusation that he and his wife had made up their son’s autism diagnosis. That led Jacqueline to allegedly hit the guy on the head with her shoe which made all hell break lose.

On Thursday evening, municipal Judge David Pfund deteremined that there was sufficient probable cause to move forward with the charges against Jacqueline, Chris, and Joe. The three reality stars filed counter-complaints against John earlier that same day, but their complaints won’t be heard until next week.

Since the charges against the cast are indictable offenses, their case will be forwarded to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.

An initial hearing is set for April 18.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 5 premieres on June 2 at 8/7c.
