After a season of thinking Ali Fedotowsky walks away from The Bachelorette single (probably the most sane option for this type of show), we’re all surprised to learn that Ali actually choses a guy!
After Ali bucked The Bachelorette format and told Chris Lambton she was going to choose Roberto to prevent him the humiliation of showing at the Final Rose ceremony to propose, she accepted Roberto’s proposal.
This is a surprise because Reality Steve, the clairvoyant Bachelor/ette blogger, was very sure that Ali picked no one and went home single.
Ali seemed to be really into Frank Neuschaefer, who was part of the final three, but he broke her heart by leaving to go back to an old girlfriend. After that went down, it seemed that Ali was truly crushed and she may not have felt for the other men the way she felt for Frank.
However, Roberto’s sexy Romance-novel-soap-opera good looks and charm must have swept her away.
This outcome must have been especially tough for Chris, who lost his mother to cancer less than two years ago.
