Selena Gomez’s mother Mandy suffers miscarriage, Selena cancels concerts
Selena Gomez has canceled her upcoming holiday performances tonight and tomorrow with her rep saying the cancellations are due to a “”family emergency.” A source close to the situation has revealed to E! that the “family emergency” is that Selena’s mother Mandy has suffered a miscarriage.
The miscarriage reportedly occurred yesterday, less than a month after Selena shared the news on Twitter that her mom and step-dad, Brian Teefey, were expecting their first child together:

The Wizards of Waverly Place starlet was set to perform tonight at the B96 Jingle Bash 2011 at the Allstate Arena outside of Chicago and tomorrow at 106.1 KISS FM’s Jingle Bell Bash at the WaMu Theater in Seattle. The entire Seattle show has now been postponed, because OneRepublic also had to cancel with frontman Ryan Tedder ordered by doctors to go on vocal rest.
We wish Mandy and her family the best.
