Sean Lowe joins Dancing with the Stars, new Bachelorette is named
Sean Lowe found his one true love in Catherine Giudici on last night’s finale of The Bachelor and now, he’s found his dancing partner. This morning on Good Morning America, Sean was announced as the 12th secret celebrity who would be joining Dancing with the Stars.
“I am so tired of keeping secrets, but now they’re all out,” Sean said this morning. During the show, Sean’s Dancing partner Peta Murgatroyd joined him and his bride-to-be on set and revealed that they’d been keeping the secret for months.
In addition to getting a chance at the mirrorball trophy, Sean is also excited to be getting a chance to improve his skills so he’ll be in tip-top shape for his and Catherine’s upcoming (and televised!) wedding. “When we have our big day, hopefully I’ll make her proud . . . I won’t make a fool of myself on my dance floor.”
Last night, another big decision was made in the world of The Bachelor — the new Bachelorette was announced. During the After The Final Rose special, Chris Harrison announced that Desiree Hartsock would star in the ninth season of the show.

According to reports, Desiree has already gotten started filming the show. E! even obtained a photo of her on Santa Monica pier in Los Angeles, gazing onto the Pacific Ocean — it looked very Bachelorette-y.
In a recent interview with OK! Magazine, Desiree was asked what she would do if she were asked to be the next Bachelorette. She said, “That a good question but this experience is a lot to take in and it’s something that I really do believe in and I know first hand that the feelings are real and you can see it. Ashley and JP are going to last. I think it works so if I was given the opportunity I’d have to think about it but I think I’m prepared to find love.”
