Scott Disick reportedly ordered to ‘give up sex for a year’ as Kourtney decides whether to take him back
The Scott Disick Kourtney Kardashian rumors are spreading quickly, as Scott enters his third week in rehab. Hot on the heels of reports of a Kourtney Kardashian feud with mom Kris Jenner over Kris’ visits with Scott comes the allegation that Scott has been advised to give up sex…for an entire year.
Multiple outlets are now reporting that Scott Disick is being told, in the strongest possible terms, that the best thing for him to do to help himself kick his drug and alcohol problem would be to also abstain from any sexual activity for a full calendar year, starting immediately.
“Scott‘s being advised to stay celibate for the next year,” a source close to Disick (and, reportedly, to Cliffside Malibu, Scott’s treatment facility) said. “He’s supposed to have a year of [total] sobriety before he starts dating again and the word is he’s committed to that.”
Why such a drastic measure…and for such an unrelated problem? According to the insider, it’s one more way for Scott to show Kourtney–and the rest of the world–that he’s serious about survival. “Scott is very remorseful for what he’s put her through,” the source continued. “But it’s not as though Kourtney can just forget everything that’s gone on.”
Will a full year of celibacy be enough to bring about a Scott Disick Kourtney Kardashian reunion? It’s too early to tell, but separate sources allege Kourtney’s reluctance to accept Scott back into her life under any terms.
“Kourtney has nowhere near decided that…she will take him back,” according to one insider, who says that Kourtney is also “talking about being single,” and wondering “what a new future could look like.”
The source concluded with some sobering words: “[Reconciliation] is by no means a slam dunk for Scott, the way it has been in the past.”
