REPORT Naya Rivera’s wedding dress, date intended for nuptials with Big Sean
If you were impressed by the speed with which Naya Rivera transitioned from engaged to Big Sean to married to Ryan Dorsey, there may be a simple explanation for how it all went so smoothly: She simply swapped fiancés and kept the other wedding plans in place!
According to TMZ, the Glee star settled on the July 19th wedding date back when she and Big Sean got engaged in October. As they went forward with their plans, he purchased her a Monique Lhuillier wedding gown.
Everything came to a screeching halt in April when Big Sean called off the wedding. His representative said, “Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and it is still his hope that they can continue to work through their issues privately.” However, the split didn’t stay amicable for long, as she accused Sean of stealing Rolexes from her home and mocked him for making less money.
Fast-forward three months to Naya’s July 19th nuptials with Ryan when she wore a Monique Lhuillier dress…
Now, I’ve heard of would-be brides going on the honeymoons they planned before calling off a wedding… But going forward with the actual wedding with a different man? That’s a new one!
It doesn’t seem like Naya cares much about potential criticism, though: She posted this picture on her wedding day and added, “Hey haters!!!”
She hasn’t shared any pictures or tweets since, but logged back online to change her social media names to “Naya Rivera Dorsey.”
