REPORT Jacqueline Laurita returning to Real Housewives of New Jersey to stir up more drama
Despite a wild hair-pulling incident, Bravo producers reportedly think this season of Real Housewives of New Jersey is too tame… So they’re bringing back Jacqueline Laurita!
According to TMZ, “Producers say when Laurita is on she’s great. They let her go because she was dealing with family issues at the time and she was so preoccupied she lost her edge.”
She was released after the fifth season, right before sister-in-law Dina Manzo rejoined the show. Now that she’s back and Jacqueline’s aligned with Dina’s estranged sister, Caroline Manzo, producers are banking on Jacqueline delivering a “fresh load of pi** and vinegar.”
Dina reportedly also played a role in Jacqueline’s firing. Jacqueline addressed the rumor directly last fall, telling Life & Style, “I understand why Dina wouldn’t want me on the show: She doesn’t want to address family issues on-camera!”
The sixth season of RHONJ is currently airing. Jacqueline will likely return for the seventh season.
