More victims continue to come forward in the bizarre case of “Dr.” Oneal Morris (right), a transgendered man who first made headlines last week when it was revealed she had injected a “patient” in the buttocks with a combination of cement, Fix-a-Flat, and mineral oil before sealing up the wound with Super Glue. (As evidenced by the booking photos of Morris, she had used the same procedure on herself – apparently numerous times!)
The latest victim to come forward is the first to do so without anonymity. Her name is Rajee Narinesingh (seen in the photo at the top), a 48-year-old transgendered male from Miami, Florida and she tells CBS Miami in an interview that she went to Oneal Morris a couple years ago because she didn’t have enough money to pay a licensed plastic surgeon. She says she heard of Morris through “word of mouth” in the transsexual community.
Here’s the clip – it starts with a brief interview with Oneal Morris after she posted bail and was released from jail, and then moves on to the Narinesingh interview:
Narinesingh explained that transgendered individuals have added pressure to change how they look. “It becomes so dire that you want to match your outside with your inside that you’re willing to roll the dice and take your chances,” Narinesingh said of her decision to go to Morris. “As a transgender person, you’re thinking, ‘Oh, my God, I can start to look like I want to look like, and I don’t have to spend a lot of money.’ ”
Narinesingh shared these startling photos of her face, including her lumpy cheeks that have since hardened. She is now seeing a real plastic surgeon, Dr. John Martin, who tells CBS Miami that he has been administering injections to Narinesingh in hopes that they will eventually soften the hard lumps in her cheeks and return her to a more normal appearance.
In the interview Narinesingh reveals that she not only had the injections in her face, but also in her buttocks and chest, which seems obvious from this photo from Rajee Narinesingh’s MySpace page:
