New mom Kerry Washington walked her first red carpet since giving birth to baby Isabelle Amarachi in late April. And, as you would expect from People‘s Best Dressed Woman, she absolutely stunned in a Max Mara outfit.
“I was away for good reasons,” the Scandal actress told E! News during the Women In Film 2014 Crystal + Lucy Awards. “Yesterday was like my fist time being back in the game and I was so nervous. It was like the first day of school nervous. But I missed our gladiators and all the social media and you guys and all the photographers.”
During her first post-baby interview with the Los Angeles Times earlier this week, Kerry said motherhood has enriched her life.
“I feel really, really blessed,” she said during the interactive Q&A session on June 10. “I just feel really blessed that I’m kind of living extraordinary dreams come true in my work life and in my personal life.”
