PHOTOS Peaches Geldof’s coffin features family portrait artwork
Today was the private funeral of model and socialite Peaches Geldof, who died on April 7 at the age of 25. The services were held at St Mary Magdalene and St Lawrence Church in Davington, Kent earlier today, the same church where Peaches married Tom Cohen and where the funeral for her mother, Paula Yates, was held in 2000.
Numerous friends and family were seen arriving outside the church, as was Peaches’ coffin, which featured a painting of Peaches, her husband, their two children, their two dogs and their cat. The family portrait was painted on a sky blue background with clouds, and the side of the coffin featured paintings of branches with peaches and flowers:
Among those in attendance in addition to Peaches’ family members were Sarah Ferguson (below), Jools Holland, Kate Moss, Alexa Chung and the Rolling Stones’ Bill Wyman.

Peaches’ ashes will reportedly be scattered in the estate’s garden, where she played as a child.
Authorities are still waiting on the toxicology results to make an official ruling on Peaches’ cause of death.
