PHOTOS Mama June finally reveals nearly 300-pound weight loss

June Shannon, the matriarch of the Honey Boo Boo clan, revealed her dramatic weight loss following gastric surgery during Friday’s episode of Mama June: From Not To Hot.

Shannon kept her new look secret for months until the reveal was made on her show as her daughters sat in shock. “I’ve worked my a** off, working out getting healthy and now I feel like becoming the person on the outside that I always felt like on the inside,” she explained.

Her transformation from a size 24 to a 4 will be documented in the upcoming issue of People. In addition to the gastric sleeve, Shannon also had surgery to have excess skin removed from her neck, stomach, back and arms as well as breast augmentation surgery and a new set of veneers.

Alana Thompson proclaimed, “She looks like Marilyn Monroe!” adding, “I never thought mama would look that good. Now she’s the second cutest in this family.”
