Little ways of being awesome! And Wednesday night was no different as he did something or another on stage at the Grammy Nominations Concert Live! event at the Club Nokia in Los Angeles! I have no idea what he was doing there – probably presenting a Lifetime Achievement Award to Taylor Swift or something. Whatever. I’m a fan, it’s my blog, and here’s more Dwight:

I guess he was announcing something to do with Sugarland? Meh. Whatever.

I can’t do a Dwight post without embedding a video! (Dude makes some great videos!) Here’s one of my all-time favorite Dwight songs called “Back of Your Hand” written by Gregg Lee:

The song’s off Dwight’s album Population Me, which according to amazon is out of print! Whuh?!?! That just came out a few years ago! Go get it!

Dwight Yoakam working with Beck on new album due out in early 2012

Dwight Yoakam is returning home to Warner Brothers record for his first new album of original material in over five years. He has reportedly already recorded some songs with Beck and will be working alongside producer Joe Chiccarelli (My Morning Jacket, The Shins, The Strokes) on the record, which is due out in early 2012.
