It may have been an endurance test after watching all of these wannabe idols take that mile long walk in an airport hanger but we finally got our list of the 24 remaining contestants for this season’s American Idol!  I have to admit the new AI crew has managed to pare the performers down to an interesting mix of talents and personalities.

America Idol had their annual final-24 get together called the Idol Prom after the east coast feed of the show aired in which there was, of course, an extended photo-op!  Here are many of the 24 finalists fully stylin and profilin’!  Just click on any of the thumbnails to view the full screen image.

American Idol premieres tonight, to go head-to-head with The Voice starting February 5

Fox’s standard bearer for competition reality shows, American Idol, kicks off its 11th season tonight at 8/7c and will air on Wednesday and Thursday nights for the next few months. But, starting February 5, it won’t be alone as NBC’s The Voice will begin its 2nd season right after the Super Bowl. (After the premiere, The Voice will air every Monday night.) Could this be the beginning of the end of Idol, or is this an overly bold move by NBC? And let us know know which show you will be tuned into by taking our poll!
