Falling asleep on the job – Florida style!
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office shared the above photo of would-be criminal Dion Davis who decided he’d take himself a little nappy-poo in the middle of robbing someone’s home.
A cleaning lady for the residence found the tired trespasser and called for assistance. When the police arrived Davis was still off in dreamland and they decided to take a few snaps of the snoozing perp.
The SCSO wrote on Facebook:
“A cleaning lady called deputies Monday morning when she found Dion Davis inside her client’s Nokomis home. He was passed out with a bag full of stolen jewelry next to him on the bed and didn’t even notice the deputies taking pictures! #FloriDUH.”
Man… You know a state’s getting a bad rap when even the police are throwing out hashtags like that.
Sleeping beauty faces a charge of burglary to an occupied dwelling (with a really comfy bed).
