Paul Nassif granted supervised visitation rights, Adrienne responds
Paul Nassif has finally caught a break in his nasty divorce turned custody battle with Adrienne Maloof. Last week, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star had been accused of child abuse by his estranged wife and ordered to stay away from his three children, but now that the Department of Child and Family Services has completed their investigation of Paul and found nothing substantial against him, he is being reunited with his boys.
Paul arrived to court yesterday with his letter from DCFS which stated that Adrienne’s child abuse claims against him were “unfounded.” The judge assigned to the case granted Paul two supervised visits with his three sons which are scheduled to take place on September 29 and October. Following that, they will proceed to their previously scheduled hearing where the judge will make a more permanent decision.
“He is delighted and continues to hope that the children will be able to spend significant time with both parents and grow up and experience as normal a childhood as they can,” a source close to Paul told PEOPLE.
While Adrienne’s rep claims she is “comfortable with the court’s decision” and “happy that the kids are spending monitored time with their father,” another source claims that she will feel better once the supervised visits are made permanent.
“Adrienne doesn’t want Paul to have unmonitored visitation with their three sons because she is concerned about their well-being around their dad,” a source close to the couple tells Radar Online. “The judge allowed Paul to have monitored supervision with their three sons on September 29. Adrienne will ask for that to be the norm going forward at the restraining order hearing.”
The couple will be back in court on October 9 where Paul will fight for 50/50 custody of their children.
