New season of My Five Wives announced for October — find out what to expect

Brady Williams Five Wives

Surely bringing joy to the cash-strapped Williams family, TLC announced this week that a new season of My Five Wives will premiere in October.

“With 24 children, five wives and one husband, there’s never a dull moment in the Williams family households,” the network said in a press release. “The Williams face changing dynamics in the upcoming season, from potential family additions to those leaving and embarking on new journeys away from home.”

Although mention of their financial problems are conspicuously missing from information about the new season, there does seem to be plenty more to talk about…

This season, Brady attempts to bring his wives closer together by instituting double dates, thus compelling Paulie and Rosemary to mend their sister-wife relationship. Nonie and Brady are actively trying to have another baby while Rhonda continues to explore the possibility of adoption. But is Brady able to handle the stress of a growing family? Rhonda finds the courage to face her earlier cancer scare, with sister wife Robyn supporting her along the way. And the entire family visits Brady’s parents in Washington State for vacation as they entertain the prospect of moving nearly 1,000 miles away from their homes in Utah… And big change is coming when three daughters graduate from high school and decide they want to move out for college.

My Five Wives Filming New Season - Brady Williams and Wives

Even though it sounds like there’s ongoing tension among the ladies, all five of them (Paulie, Robyn, Rosemary, Nonie and Rhonda) participated in filming this summer.

The new 10-episode season of My Five Wives premieres on TLC on Sunday, Oct. 19 at 10/9c.
